While we have a corps of “regulars” tolling the Honor Bell as part of the Bell Guard, we also welcome any veteran who has an interest in tolling the bell to do so. This past week we welcomed US Army veteran Terri Clinton as part of a tolling party. Clinton is Vice President of the National American Legion College Alumni Association, the legislative chair for the American Legion Auxillary’s Americanism program, and a board member of the Fisher House Foundation. Most importantly, she is someone who wanted to help honor those who served and sacrificed for our country. Thanks to Terri and everyone else who tolls the Honor Bell — whether it’s every day, or just once, we appreciate you!
