The Honor Bell, mounted in its transport vehicle, will leave the Verdin Company’s factory this Saturday and head to the Great American Ballpark! As part of Armed Forces Day, the Cincinnati Reds have invited the Honor Bell onto the field prior to the game to toll in memory of Ohio’s deceased veterans.
This will be the very first time the Honor Bell will be tolled in public, and we are grateful to the Cincinnati Reds, the Seattle Mariners, and Major League Baseball for including us in the pregame celebration of our nation’s armed forces.
If you are in Cincinnati Saturday May 21st, join us!
Members of the military get discounted tickets to the game. We will take the field prior to the game, and will perform Bell Honors immediately before the national anthem. Look for us at about 3:50 Eastern Time. If you are watching the game in the Reds‘ or Mariners‘ broadcast areas, we are hopeful there will be coverage of the ceremony before the game, so watch for us!
We will also stream the Bell Honors on Facebook Live here.
