A SPECIAL GOODBYE TO A FRIEND OF THE FOUNDATION

We were honored to help pay tribute to a long-time friend of the Foundation last week, Joe Annello. Joe was an early supporter of the Honor Bell, and donated his Prisoner of War flag to our color guard. His good friend, Hiroshi “Hershey” Miyamura, tolled the bell at the service. Hershey is a Medal Of Honor Recipient — the first to toll the bell. He was accompanied by Green Beret SFC Cody Armstrong and Bell Artifact donor Jeff Falkel.
