BELL GUARD PROFILE: JEAN TAYLOR

JEAN TAYLOR DURING HER SERVICE AS A DIETICIAN WITH THE US AIR FORCE

Jean Taylor is not one to stand still for long. After a career that included service in the Air Force Medical Specialist Corps and 25 years at St. Anthony Hospital, she takes part in many organizations’ activities. On any given day you may find her volunteering with organizations doing genealogical research, acting as chaplain for the Denver chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, historian for the Colorado Jamestown Society, or as a board member of the Episcopal Church Women. And, of course, you will find her at Fort Logan National Cemetery, where she serves as both a volunteer with the information center and as a Bell Guard volunteer with the Honor Bell Foundation. Jean finds satisfaction in honoring the service of veterans, and in spreading the word about the Honor Bell. We are honored by Jean’s service with us, and love the enthusiasm she brings to everything she does.
