BELL GUARD PROFILE: DAVID EARP

EARP, AT LEFT, DEPLOYED IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

David Earp is our Director of Bell Honors. He supervises our team of dedicated Bell Guards, making sure that the bell is tolled for every veteran whose family has requested Bell Honors. David comes to us with over 20 years of experience in the Army, including time as a Protocol Assistant, Ammunition Section Chief, NCOIC, and Section Chief. He has served at various bases in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East between 1998 and 2015.

As a Protocol Assistant Mr. Earp arranged, planned, and executed protocol events in Colorado, including dignitary visits, deployment ceremonies, and Color Guard training and supervision. His work as an Ammunition Section Chief, Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC), and Section Chief included logistical planning and coordination of small- and medium-sized teams, equipment tracking and reporting, ensuring operational readiness of personnel and equipment, and personnel training.

David’s volunteer experience includes service with Honor and Remember, The Mission Continues, and Walter Reed Bethesda Military Hospital.
