$25,000 IN DONATIONS UNLOCKS DANIELS FUND CHALLENGE GRANT

With $25,000 raised toward the casting of Honor Bell #2, the Honor Bell Foundation has met the challenge set forth by the Daniels Fund, who will match the funds raised by individuals and organizations for bringing an Honor Bell to Colorado Springs. The challenge grant from Daniels brings the total raised to $50,000 — met in advance of the deadline for the first phase of funding set by the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

“We are grateful to everyone who gave their support to the vision of casting a second Honor Bell that will serve the wonderful veteran community in Colorado Springs and across southern Colorado,” said Foundation Director Michelle Mallin. “The fact that we’ve been able to raise $25,000 in just six months speaks to the dedication of people across Colorado to our mission — especially in these challenging times.”
